Sing for Water North is in its sixth year and hundreds of singers from community choirs across the North are assembling in Albert Square Manchester on June 12th to sing a collection of songs to raise funds for Water Aid. It is a unique and rewarding experience – and raises money for a valuable and important cause.

650 million people in the world do not have access to clean running water in the 21st century –  this project gives us as singers the opportunity to help change that by doing something we love doing. The idea is that people learn a set of 6 songs of different genres and cultures and gather to sing them together at a public event

For those in the HUDDERSFIELD area who would like to take part and experience singing in a massed choir or want to support this fantastic event, Gill Bond is running 2 fundraising Open Workshops teaching the 6 songs at
The Watershed, Bridge Street, Slaithwaite on Sunday May 2nd and Sunday June 5th 1-3.30pm. Cost £5 + all proceeds to Water Aid
