In August, our lovely creative space and office base, The Watershed, was damaged by a serious fire.
Satellite Arts and our Watershed colleagues, Shabang Inclusive Learning and Impossible Arts are determined that together we will bring our lovely building back to life. However, this process is estimated to take 9 months – we will be keeping all our regular weekly sessions with community groups running from alternative venues. For details, please see our website diary.
Our touring shows are fortunately not affected by the fire. Toy Theatre Tempest will be touring regionally in October and November and Andy Burton’s one-man pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, especially devised for young children, is available to book in December and January.
With regards to the fire, we would like to thank all who have offered sympathy and support, galvanising words and offers of help and the fire brigade, friends, colleagues and neighbours for their actions in difficult circumstances.
